 | Lambretta LD125 ELECTRIC START TELEFLEX.I am reducing my collection of Lambretta scooters. i have a MK2 and MK3 AVV LD and dont have the time, or interest to restore this scooter Here we have
a incomplete rare ELECTRIC START 1954/5 LD125. Parts missing are seats/frames, fuel tank/ starter motor,rear footboards, both side panels. Battery box. What you see in the picture is what you are bidding on. The good points are that the rare handle bars and Teleflex gear and throttle controls are complete, and will work, the very hard to find handle bar mounted electric starter lever is all there and working. The almost impossible to get voltage regulator is also present. The correct early MA 18B2 carb is fitted with the tickler, and the alloy fan cowling is fitted. I have a new piston for this scooter as well.This could be restored and put back on the road if time and care and a lot of parts are sourced. It may be of use to someone who is looking for spare parts for a scooter they already have. I dont have any documents for this scooter. The scooter was given a coat of red oxide years ago, to help protect it from the metal eating tin worm.The Lambretta club of Great Britain or British Lambreta Archive can produce a authentication/dating certifacate to anyone who may wish to register this scooter for use on the road.
