pistachio green, with beautiful full leather seat and matching top box. The mileage is ultra-low because after one summer commuting to work in the CIty, my role changed and I travelled more overseas. And, I have to admit, I wasn`t as keen to travel in the winter months! That said, I have been reluctant to part with it given how great it is to ride and look at! Given the fab leather seat, I have been incredibly careful to ensure the bike has been kept covered and out of the rain at all times (albeit always kept outside).As you can see from the photos, the bike looks fantastic still. There are a few stone chips here and there, but no scrapes and it has never been dropped. The only minor issue is the front headlamp - which was already scuffed and cracked when I purchased it back in August 2009. I never really notice it, but I have taken a photo so you can see how it looks. Was told it would cost roughly £120 to replace. The leather seat is still in fantastic condition. I have all receipts from when I have had the bike serviced at my local Scooter World shop. you want it! | It has around two hundred pounds worth of chrome crash bar protection for peace of mind, plus a spring-loaded front rack and a matching, original Piaggio top box. Carrying capacity galore. | A couple of small, neat lamps are attached to the front frame, which can easily be wired-in. | It`s in very good overall condition and you`d be hard-pressed to spot any scratches or dinks - no doubt as a result of all the protection. I aquired it a few months ago as my son had passed his CBT and was hoping to get a job in a town 15 miles away and needed transport. This machine was bought in January 2009 by a young lady who fell off it later that year and never used it again. It stood outside for over two years until I bought it from her. I bought a new battery and put fuel in it and it started fine though could do with the fuel tank being flushed as suspect there is water and stale fuel in it. Front headlight doesn`t work, probably bulb, and rear brake needs adjusting and/or new linings, kick start doesn`t engage properly. There are scrapes and minor dents on the right hand legshield and engine fairing from the fall, and the mirror has a crack. On the plus side, it`s not in bad nick for its age and has low mileage, even the underseat toolkit is present, see photo.About a week after I bought it my son announced that he had a job in Australia and therefore wouldn`t need it, hence the sale.Also advertised elsewhere, so reserve the right to withdraw. bike re sprayed about 6 years ago and it has just been sat in my garage, so it has dust on it and a few minor scratches we did put 3 brand new wheels/tyres/tubes/cables/rubbers/seat but seat has two rips in it as can be seen in photograph. new chrome indicator and back light, the engine was rebuilt about 12 months ago. including all new seals and bearings, crusiform , clutch plates, crank, barrel and piston, genuine piaggio 125. unfortunatly i have lost the state a plate and fly wheel. but did intend to put 12v electrics on it which i would recomend. so basically it needs tidying up,state a plate and fly wheel/fly wheel cover. also the chrome rims have started to rust, but chrome stand is still good condition. so as the indicators and back light, and tyres and tubes have never even been on the road, if you need to know anything else please ring me on 07877875069 many thanks. i also have bike advertised elsewhere so have the right to remove item early.would make a lovely scooter with a bit of tlc.can deliver at a cost ,contact to be made within 48hrs would prefer cash on collection. would need a £100 deposit paid straight into paypal. cheers X | £500.00 | |||||||
