  | 2003 Piaggio NRG MC3 (Spares or repairs).This listing is for my Piaggio NRG MC3 50cc scooter I have owned the Piaggio NRG since late 2011 and was using it for pleasure and commuting until January
2012 when I was able to take my driving lessons. I have now passed my test and no longer need the scooter for work.Since owning the bike I have bought a brand new Yasuni C13 (I think) Race Exhaust which cost me £160 , new Doppler lightweight variator rollers and a few cosmetic additions such as new number plate holder and jack up kit and a Benelli side stand which gives it the euro leaning look. In its best days , this bike would do a good 55mph+ with that exhaust installed.At the moment it does not run properly , the bike will start correctly , run for a few minutes and then choke up on fuel. The spark plug can then be removed and show signs that it is running rich but adjustments to the carburettor have been made and no cure can be found... This may mean it might be as simple as just changing the carburettor jets or may be that the bike needs a whole new carburettor.
