I bought it from new in 2006 and have been the sole owner and user since then and have never carried any passengers on it. It has never been dropped or involved in any accidents and has been garage kept throught out its life. It has been well maintained and has a full service history. It is reliable, starts first time every time and gives a stable and secure ride. It has a very low mileage, with just under 3000 miles on the clock. It is taxed and MOT`ed until Feb11. Last on the road in the 80s. | click thumbnails for high resolution pictures | I`d decided I wanted a `50 as I wanted to be able to ride forever on a CBT, turns out I got bored and passed my full test so want to free up some space to get a bigger bike. | When I got it, it took a bit to get it back on the road | -Electrical tidy up | -New tyres (rear one now getting towards end of life) | -Small bit of welding - neat seam welded repair to wheel arch. There is still a hole in the rear wheel arch below the number plate. I left this to maintain the original and ratty look, but it could easily be welded up and is not an MOT fail. | -new chain | -new rear swingarm bushes | -Re-covered seat. | -Underneath metal cleaned and prepped with rustproofing paint taking care to preserve the original exterior that can only come from twenty years parked in a barn. | -Waxoyled all the cavities and even the outside of the bike to help preserve it. | -Generally gave the complete bike an overhaul for its first MOT since the 80s - which it passed. | Then, despite the little `50 engine running like a dream (would do 40mph most places) I decided to swap it for a bigger unit to give the little bike a bit more oomph. | I acquired a nearly new 125 lifan engine from ebay and squeezed it X

it This isn`t one of those tiny little put put scooters, this is an `executive scooter` and has a very good road presence. It has great acceleration and a top speed of about 70mph so will be fine on A roads. This is the last 2 stroke scooter Honda made so its probably the best they produced and being a Honda very reliable. I bought this a year and a half ago so that I could use my car less but in the end only did 301 miles in a year so it isn`t really worth me keeping it, i`m a 4 wheeler guy really! It was serviced when I bought it and had new brake pads fitted, loads of wear left in tyres, everything works as it should and is good condition overall with only 7788 miles on the clock. Brand new battery just fitted. The MOT guy said it was in great condition for its age, its only been driven home after it went through the MOT. Loads of storage under the seat and in the top lock box, i`ve managed 3 of those renewable shopping bags in one trip. The scooter comes with the origional manual, tool kit and I will throw in a heavy duty chain and lock. I also have a bikers jacket, over trousers and designer helmet which I will sell later on ebay but could do a deal on if you buy the scooter. Currently SORN but only £15 tax a year. Excellent economy (+80mph), think i`ve been to the petrol station about 3 times and it only cost me £8 a X
